Timetable and the festival map are now published.
On the 6th of June Rajakylä in Oulu, Finland will get their first festival ever! Rajakylän OstariFestari is a part of the Oulu2026 European cultural capital year.
The former Rajakylä Shopping area will be transformed into a festival ON 6.6.2026
The festival area covers the market area of Rajakylä between S-Market and the former K-market. The area extends to the forest strip into a park named “Taikametsä”, The Magical Forest. The entrance is next to Kulkuri Pub. Kulkuri Pub and Kebab Pizza Lain are also in the festival area. The entire festival will be dressed up in carnival attire and various hanging out areas will be set up in the area for the public to enjoy.
Main stage
The main stage is where you can experience big bands and big vibes. The stage is located on the market square, at the end facing the parking lots.
Taikametsä
The so called “Röllimetsä” will transform into Taikametsä (The Magical Forrest) on June 6, 2026, when the Rajakylä will dress up in its fanciest carnival outfit. The Taikametsä will feature rap groups, DJ music and instrumental bands.
