Ostarifestari is a part of the Oulu2026 European cultural capital year.
The age limit for the festival is 18 years.
Arrival
OstariFestari takes place in Oulu, at the Höyhtyä shopping center at Latokartanontie 1, 90150 Oulu. You can get there by bicycle, bus or car.
Accessibility
OstariFestari has barrier-free access to the grass area of the main stage and the paving around the festival area. However, moving around the grass area in a wheelchair can be challenging without an assistant. An accessible toilet can be found at Bar Lumo. Assistants can enter the event with the person being assisted free of charge. If you have any questions about accessibility, please contact ostarifestari@nullgmail.com.
Wristband exchange
We will announce the pre-festival wristband exchange later.
Lost and found
Lost and found items can be delivered to the gate during the festival. If you lost something, you can ask about it by emailing ostarifestari@nullgmail.com.
Bicycle parking
Bicycles can be parked on both sides of the entrance. The bicycle parking is marked with OstariFestari signs.
Car parking
There are a limited number of 2-hour parking spaces in the Ostari parking lot. We recommend arriving by public transport, bicycle, on foot or by shared car ride.
We do not have a cloakroom
We do not have a cloakroom, so please take this into account when packing your festival supplies. A security check will be carried out at the gate.
Allowed items
Empty plastic soft drink bottles max. 0.5 l, small snacks in sealed retail packaging (no glass containers or liquids), pocket cameras/paperbacks, mobile phone cameras
Prohibited items
Glass bottles and cans, sealable containers (thermos, etc.), alcoholic beverages, narcotics, umbrellas, heavy/long key chains, aerosol cans (hairspray, spray insecticide, etc.), edged weapons, multi-function tools, explosives, flares, etc., thorn combs, selfie sticks, remote-controlled photo drones and drones (only with the organizer’s permission), permit-free security sprayers, walkie-talkies, laser pointers, flag and banner poles/sticks, pets
